Job Description Summary
We are looking for a talented Data Quality professional to join the Enterprise Data & Analytics team. You will be responsible for developing and owning data quality and reference data capabilities and services. You will develop procedures and processes to certify data quality for business purposes. Establish and monitors critical data elements working with LOBs along with identification of data quality improvement opportunities. You will maintain centralized inventory of reference data sets and promote usage to enable consistency and efficiency. You will also meet with business customers to recommend, develop, maintain and prioritize data quality and reference data requirements and specifications. You will support master data management initiatives and best practices across the enterprise as well as support enterprise data management best practices development and implementation across lines of business. This is an individual contributor position.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Identify and document data quality capabilities and services (services catalog)
Create roadmap to implement capabilities and products
Partner with cloud data management initiative to provide data quality subject matter expertise
Identify and implement data quality use cases including data profiling, data quality monitoring and data quality remediation
Assist LOBs with implementation of data quality use cases
Create data quality dashboard to monitor progress of data quality efforts
Identify and document reference data management capabilities and services (services catalog)
Create roadmap to implement capabilities and products
Partner with cloud data management initiative to provide reference data subject matter expertise
Manage central enterprise repository of reference data sets
Influences adoption of defined data policies, standards and best practices on assigned projects or initiatives
Ensures data and information are handled in accordance with established laws, regulations and policies.
Develop and own project timelines and plans for assigned projects
Provides guidance to less experienced peers.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Business.
4 years of relevant data and analytics experience required.
Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge
Good knowledge of Data Management tools, techniques and programing languages
Demonstrates general understanding of overall data models, data relationships, mapping lineage and business rules
Experience performing data analytics and writing SQL queries
Experience with Data Profiling & Data Quality, recommending improvements to best practices
8 years of data management or relevant analytics experience
